Would I send this with my son? My boy deploys later this year. I bought two- one for me, one for him. That should tell you enough.

Actually field-worthy. I carried the RFK on a 3 day hog hunt in Florida. Cut rope, processed meat, batoned some smaller limbs and used it to pry more than I should have. Edge held up way better than I expected for stainless. Sheath retention is solid- I ran it inverted on my pack strap and it never budged.

Good in wet conditions. I guide fishing charters and wanted something stainless that wasnt junk. Been around blood, saltwater, scales and slime. Zero rust so far. Still solid lockup in the sheath.
